The Device Sharing feature lets you grant access to your Cielo devices without sharing your login credentials. This provides a convenient and secure way for multiple users to manage and control the Cielo smart devices. 

Adding & Viewing Members 

Step 1: Open 'Menu' from the Home screen and tap on ‘Sharing.’

Step 2: Tap on ‘Start Sharing.’

Step 3: Add the email address of the person you want to add to your Cielo Home account. 

Step 4: Select the device(s) you want to share. 

Step 5: An invitation link has been sent. You can also share the invitation link by tapping on ‘Reshare Invitation Link.’ 

Step 6: Copy the link and share it via any messaging platform.

On the Sharing Home Page, you can view all the current members and how many devices you have shared with them. Additionally, pending invitations will be listed under Pending Invites, showing the recipient’s email, the date the invite was sent, and its current status (Pending or Declined). 

When a Child user (member) clicks the invitation link, they are directed to the Cielo Home app to accept it. If they don’t have the app installed, the link redirects them to the App Store or Play Store for download. Once installed, they can sign up or log in, and the shared device will automatically appear in their account.

Sharing Additional Devices with Existing Members

If you want to give a member access to more devices, here's how you can do it:

Step 1: Tap on the member name on the Sharing Home Page.

Step 2: Tap on 'Manage Shared Devices'.

Step 3: Tap on the + icon on the Cielo smart device that you want to share. Tap on 'Update', and the device(s) will be shared with that member.

Revoking Access

Even after granting access to your Cielo devices, you still retain full control and can revoke it at any time. 

Step 1: Tap on the member's name on the Sharing Home Page whose access you want to remove.

Step 2: Tap ‘Stop Sharing’, and the access will be removed immediately.

Note:

• Parent users (original device owners) can share a single device with 10 Child users at a time.
• Parent users retain full administrative control over their devices and can revoke access at any time.
• If the Parent user wants to share access again after revoking, they will have to follow the same steps to re-invite the user.
• Child users cannot share the device with others. 
• If a Child user removes a shared device, it will be removed only from their account and will remain active for the Parent user and other Child users. 

A Child user will not have access to the following: 

• Change Wi-Fi settings and rename the device. (For all Cielo smart devices).
• Add a shared device to a group. (For all Cielo smart devices). 
• Edit multi-zone settings. They can only view the settings. (For Cielo Breez Egde Pro & Breez Max) 
• Access HVAC settings. (For Cielo Smart Thermostats). 
• Modify address (For all Cielo devices). 
• Lock the device settings with a pin lock. (For Cielo Smart Thermostat & Cielo Breez Edge).
