The ‘Test Equipment’ feature allows you to test heating, cooling, fan, or connected accessories to confirm your system is working properly.
Testing Humidifier/Dehumidifier on Cielo Smart Thermostat
Step 1: Tap the Menu icon on the Cielo Smart Thermostat.
Step 2: From the menu, select 'HVAC Settings'.
Step 3: Tap on ‘Test Equipment’ to begin the testing process.
⚠️ CAUTION
Warning! These tests are designed to be run by a PRO only. If you are a homeowner, we recommend that you use the ‘Cielo Home’ App to run these tests. Please note that the equipment will be turned off automatically to start the tests as soon as you press ‘OK.’
Step 4: Tap on ‘Accessory.’
Note: The options displayed on the test equipment screen will vary based on the configured equipment.
Step 5: The screen will tell you that the accessory is running.
Testing Humidifier/Dehumidifier Using Cielo Home App
Step 1: On the Control Screen, tap on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right corner.
Step 2: Go to ‘HVAC Settings.'
Step 3: Tap on ‘Test Equipment.'
Step 4: Tap ‘Yes’ to proceed.
Step 5: Tap on 'Test' in front of the Humidifier. (You will see a dehumidifier if that is your configured accessory).
Step 6: Switch on the accessory to continue the test.
Note: The options shown on the Test Equipment screen will vary based on your configured equipment.
