Consider you have a Cielo Smart Thermostat connected to your central heat pump, and multiple Cielo Breez Max connected to mini-splits. You can create a link based on the optimal indoor temperature to maximize the use of mini-split heat pumps and minimize the use of the central HVAC system.

(You can use this case as an example to create links based on your situation and heating/cooling equipment.)

Here’s how you can do that via Cielo Linked:

Step 1: Open the Cielo Home app. Tap on ‘Menu’ on the home screen and then tap ‘Cielo Linked’.

Step 2: Tap the ‘+’ icon, then ‘Select a source’.

Step 3: Select Home Thermostat as the triggering device and tap ‘Next’.

Step 4: Select ‘Indoor temperature’ and set it to ‘goes above 60°F’. Tap ‘Next’.

Step 5: Tap on ‘Select the device’.

Step 6: Select Breez Max Kids Room, tap ‘Next’, then ‘Change settings’.

Step 7: Set the ‘AC State’ to ‘Power On’ and adjust settings according to your preferences. Tap ‘Done’, then 'Next'. 

Step 8: Tap the ‘+’ icon, select Breez Max Living Room, and tap ‘Next’.

Step 9: Select 'Change Settings'. Change ‘AC State’ to ‘Power On’ and change the settings according to your preferences. Tap ‘Done'. 

Step 10: Tap ‘Next’. Then tap on the ‘+’ icon. 

Step 11: Select ‘Home’ Thermostat. Then tap ‘Change Preset’ and select ‘Away’, and then tap ‘Next’.​

Step 12: Now tap on ‘Create Link’.
