A multi-zone mini-split system can only function in either cooling or heating mode at any given time, but not both simultaneously, as they have the same refrigerant flow.
When different indoor units are set to conflicting modes (e.g., one in heat and another in cool), it can disrupt the system performance and cause some of the units to turn off.
How Cielo Breez Max Helps Prevent Mode Conflict
Cielo Breez Max offers a dedicated feature that helps prevent mode conflicts and ensures smooth operation in multi-zone setups.
Note: You'll need to connect each indoor unit with a separate Breez Max.
To avoid mode conflict, this feature offers two key functionalities to either:
Follow
This enables synchronized settings across all units. When you change the mode (e.g., from cooling to heating) on one unit, all others will automatically switch to the same mode.
This is ideal if you want consistent comfort throughout your home without worrying about manual adjustments.
Turn Off
This setting prevents conflict by shutting down other units. When you change the mode on one unit, any other units operating in a different mode will automatically turn off.
This is useful when only one zone needs a mode change, and you don’t want to affect the entire system.
